Ideally, a Christ Community Bible Church is one that is knit together. They meet often and they may or may not have expectations from each other, but they are definitely coming together to share their life’s experiences with one another.
When we talk about a biblical community, there are a few building blocks that we must know, here are they:
*Frequency – The individuals in the community are fellows and they meet frequently. The Bible tells us that “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together. Instead let us encourage each other.” The community believes in maintaining a habit and habits is made with frequency.
*Authenticity – No one pretends fake when it comes to sharing the life’s instances. In the community, everyone shares his true feelings. There are three fears that ask us to be inauthentic i.e. the fear of exposure, the fear of rejection, and the fear of being hurt. The community believes that when we are in the light of God, we do not hide our faults.
*Mutuality – Community fellowship is built on Mutuality. Here, everyone helps one another to grow and together the group remains stronger. You cannot be what He wants you to be without people around you. Mutuality has three parts namely, mutual accountability, mutual encouragement, and mutual honoring.
*Courtesy – The last thing we would talk about here is courtesy. It means we show respect to each other despite the differences. We show respect even when we do not agree with each other. Quarrels may happen but you should learn to handle then gently. Learn more about Christ community bible church.
