RA Power Solutions has been repairing, grinding, and polishing crankshafts for the last 47 years. We make a lightweight, portable Insitu Crankshaft Grinder that grinds and polishes crankpins and main journals without removing the crankshaft from the engine, making crankshaft maintenance faster and easier.
The machine is suited for limited working space and can be used for crankshaft diameters from 35 mm up to 700 mm. The main body is made of titanium alloy to ensure robust functioning and help in vibration absorption. The machine can even be used when a ship is at sea and is capable of maintaining close machining tolerances of about 0.02 mm.
The main journal and crankpin can be polished and ground with very little change to the setup. If the damage is slight, Grinding and polishing will improve the surface quality without reducing the journal diameter. The machine removes corrosion, pitting and surface blemishes and gives a better final surface polish.
RA Power Solutions supplies the machine with consumables for its proper operation and maintenance and provides on-site training to the technicians.
